Lumineers™, in particular have properties that are very appealing to discriminating patients. They are as thin as a contact lens and have the translucence qualities of your real teeth.

As cosmetic dentistry becomes more and more popular, patients are learning more about the Golden Rule of Proportion that has become popularized by the Las Vegas Institute (LVI), a renowned cosmetic dentistry training facility for aesthetic and reconstructive dentists.

This concept relates to several aesthetic and physical properties of tooth structures, especially those that appear when we smile broadly. Accomplished makeover dentists typically use several porcelain veneers that are handcrafted for each tooth structure.

Pain Free Veneer Laminates!

The fitting process is essentially free of pain. Traditional porcelain veneers usually require "tooth preparation" (i.e., existing tooth is ground down to accomodate a veneer). Dr. Halmaghi's use of the Cerinate alternative frequently eliminates the need for grinding or shaping of the existing tooth. This is on a case by case basis depending on the patient's wants and needs.

For many patients there is no drilling... no grinding... no preparation whatsoever that would require the usual need for a local anesthetic. Because Lumineer laminates are the thinnest porcelain laminate materials available today, there is no risk of having veneers that make your teeth appear "fat" or unusually "thick" (a common complaint with veneer makeovers).

Dr. Halmaghi, with his on site dental lab is able to create truly dazzling, permanently white smiles by eliminating unsightly spaces between teeth (diastema's). As the adjacent photo shows....this adult patient has a large gaps between his anterior teeth (front teeth).

Traditional orthodontics were, at one time, the only treatment choice of large gaps between teeth. Today's advanced porcelain technologies now enable accomplished dental lab technicians and proven cosmetic dentists to create a cosmetic outcome that is quite astounding. The need for conventional orthodontia treatment is eliminated.
